10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesJulianne Hough has only just finished work on a 100% bona fide Diablo Cody project, the writer's untitled directorial debut (which formerly went by the title of “Lamb of God”), but now she’s signed on to play the lead in "Time and a Half" too. Ol Parker (“Now is Good”) is directing the film, and Variety describes Hough’s role as that of “a recent college grad who takes a temp job at a trophy store where she runs into her sister’s high school boyfriend with whom she had a one-night stand.” They go on to mention that the search is now on to cast Hough’s on-screen sister and that the project won’t move forward until they find the right actress to compliment her.
Hough’s been pretty busy since making a name for herself on "Dancing with the Stars," and in the last twelve months she has been seen in the surprisingly great “Footloose” remake and “Rock of Ages,” and has filmed the Nicholas Sparks adaptation “Safe Haven” as well as Cody’s directorial debut. How heavily this script will still bear the mark of Cody remains to be seen, but given the point in her career that it was written suggests that either way it probably won’t possess quite the same levels of skill and maturity that were on display in “Young Adult.” But we're intrigued nonetheless.

Meh, I like Julianne, but she really can't act, plus it is Diablo Cody, so it sucks even worse.
