Around the same time of reports yesterday that Olivia Thirlby had joined the cast of "Another Bullshit Night In Suck City," rumors had been circulating that Julianne Moore was part of the cast as well, since her name had been popping up on casting calls for the film.
Well, she is indeed. Reps for the actress have confirmed that the four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore has joined the already very strong cast for the upcoming film. Based on the memoir by Nick Flynn, the story follows a young man in his twenties (Paul Dano) who works at various homeless shelters in Boston where he often intersects with his brilliant but troubled and estranged father (Robert De Niro). Thirlby will play Denise, the love interest who helps Dano land the job. No word yet on Moore's role.
Things are gearing up for the film which is set to be directed by Paul Weitz, and will start lensing next month.
