'Jurassic Park 4' Will Stomp Into Theaters In Summer 2014 (In 3D, Of Course)

Sometimes you get what you wish for. Last summer, producer Frank Marshall said he was hoping the forever-developing "Jurassic Park 4" would hit theaters in 2014, and how just about six months later, it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen.

Universal Pictures has gone ahead and staked out June 14, 2014 for "Jurassic Park 4," which will be coming at your eyeballs in 3D. Steven Spielberg is on board to produce, and even though his "Robopocalypse" was delayed so he could work on the story, there's no indication that he'll direct. In fact, for a movie due in theaters in 18 months, there's no director or stars announced, but we're sure that will all be coming along very quickly. It certainly seems to have been brewing under the radar, and we'd wager the script by recently hired writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (who were behind "Rise of the Planet of the Apes") was the one that got everyone all excited and got the flip switched.
