Not washing your hands is pretty gross, but if events unfold like they do in Steven Soderbergh's "Contagion," you can use all the hand sanitizer that you want but it won't help when some douchebag sneezes on you without covering their mouth. That's all it will take for infection to set in.
Starring Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, plus supporting players Bryan Cranston, John Hawkes, Elliott Gould, Demetri Martin and Jennifer Ehle, the Scott Z. Burns scripted story follows the worldwide ramifications of a viral pandemic and it ain't pretty. Warner Bros. has unveiled a healthy batch of new photos from the film which seem to show our leads trying to get the word out with Law's paranoid blogger even going so far as to hand out flyers. Deeply researched and with an approach weighted toward realism, the film might leave you feeling a bit queasy and wanting to get as far away from everyone else in the theater as possible.
"Contagion" will premiere at the Venice Film Festival before hitting theaters on September 9th in both your standard shape and IMAX supersized. Check out the pics below.
