As the saying goes, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" and it has served the foundation for many movies fromt the successful ("The Hangover") to the dreadful ("Saint John Of Las Vegas") and yet another is on the way.
Variety reports that Kim Basinger, Heather Graham, Catherine O'Hara and Jason Patric will star in the indie flick "Fortune." Written by Nancy Fichman and Jennifer Hoppe (the duo have previously teamed on episodes of "Nurse Jackie"), the story follows "a petty thief who pledges to save his life after a roadside killing; and two financially destitute sisters who grudgingly team up to track down a female mobster for bounty. They all land in Las Vegas, where violence and destinies collide." Yeah, we've all seen this movie fifteen times already.
Mostly TV director Clark Johnson will helm the film which will begin shooting in Canada in August. Because whenever someone thinks of all the things associated with Las Vegas, the Great White North immediately springs to mind, right?
