Kristen Stewart Gets An 'On The Road' Poster To Take With Her To Cannes

It seems that this year at the Cannes Film Festival, it's going to be the young blood earning the attention of the paparazzi. Oh sure, Brad Pitt will be there, but how many pictures of Brad Pitt on the red carpet do you need? Snap-happy cameramen will surely be saving their zoom lenses for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Zac Efron who will all be featuring in films unspooling at the Palais. And that's a sentence we thought we'd never actually type.

On The Road Kristen Stewart Poster Edit

It seems that this year at the Cannes Film Festival, it's going to be the young blood earning the attention of the paparazzi. Oh sure, Brad Pitt will be there, but how many pictures of Brad Pitt on the red carpet do you need? Snap-happy cameramen will surely be saving their zoom lenses for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Zac Efron who will all be featuring in films unspooling at the Palais. And that's a sentence we thought we'd never actually type.

Continuing in the run of character posters for Walter Salles' "On The Road," fresh off the official confirmation of its In Competition slot at Cannes, a well-timed one sheet for Stewart has arrived, the first one bearing the official festival logo/seal of approval. The actress plays Marylou, Dean Moriarity's (Garrett Hedlund) first wife, and she ping-poings between him and Sal (Sam Riley), in a rocky, sexually charged relationship (though at one point, she's willing to sleep with Sal while Dean watches, but Sal turns her down).

At any rate, it's gotta be more fun than choosing between a vampire and a werewolf. Check out the full poster below, and we presume it won't be long before a U.S. distributor snaps this up. [RecentMoviePosters]
