What's better than four "Paranormal Activity" movies? How about a Latino-flavored spin-off? (But that isn't in Spanish). Well, your wish is coming true as those reports this spring that a demographically targeted version of the hit horror series was happening were correct. And the movie will be teased after the credits of "Paranormal Activity 4." Truly terrifying.
To refresh your memory, producers Jason Blum and Oren Peli and writer Christopher Landon (who penned the second and third movies of the 'Paranormal' series as well as "Disturbia") have teamed up for the microbudget, Latino-flavored "Paranormal Activity," which Landon will helm. According to their sources, Bloody Disgusting says the movie would be a sequel or reboot, but will be a "cousin" to the franchise we already know -- whatever that means. As for the plot, it's also being kept under wraps/probably doesn't have much of one to speak of, but it will apparently have some kind of Catholicism-based mythology. Okay, then.
So keep your ass glued to your seat when 'PA4' finishes because the story will apparently continue kind of, sort of. "Shaky Cam: OMG What's That Noize 4" opens on October 19th.
