Liam Neeson Rolls With 'Entourage,' Andrew Garfield Joins 'The Woman In Gold' With Helen Mirren & More

Like some kind of Irish acting shark, Liam Neeson cannot stop working or else he dies. Though he’s already set to shoot “Taken 3” this spring—with no one being taken, strangely enough—The Wrap reports the “Non-Stop” actor has been spotted filming a scene on the set of the long-awaited “Entourage” movie opposite Jeremy Piven.

Like some kind of Irish acting shark, Liam Neeson cannot stop working or else he dies. Though he’s already set to shoot “Taken 3this spring—with no one being taken, strangely enough—The Wrap reports the “Non-Stop” actor has been spotted filming a scene on the set of the long-awaited “Entourage” movie opposite Jeremy Piven. The role likely amounts to not much more than a cameo but it’s another film in an already crowded schedule for Neeson with Martin Scorsese’s long-delayed “Silence” also looming in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, you can watch a Lego-fied version of the “Non-Stop” trailer which is especially apt since Neeson provides the voice for a cop with a split personality in “The Lego Movie.” Watch it below.

He may have to wait until this Sunday night to find out if he wins an Oscar, but “Captain Phillips” actor Barkhad Abdi is already lining up his next gig. According to THR, Abdi is circling “The Place That Hits The Sun,” a true historical drama that “follows famous South African marathoner Willie Mtolo, a Zulu warrior, who competed in the 1992 New York Marathon.” The film will be a two-hander as it’ll deal with Mtolo’s unlikely friendship with “Ray de Vries, a Caucasian bar owner.”

His past few films may have been box office and critical disappointments—“The Internship” and “Delivery Man”—but Vince Vaughn is stepping outside of the comedy world square into thriller territory with “Term Life.” Per Variety, the film has found its villain in the form of “Bad Boys II” and “Riddick” baddie, Jordi Molla. The film centers on Vaughn as a crooked criminal on the run with his daughter from mob bosses, dirty cops and more. Molla will be playing “a ruthless and debonair member of the Mexican cartel who blames Vaughn’s character for the death of his only son.” No word on when shooting starts.

Kevin Bacon is returning to the horror world with the Greg McLean-helmed (“Wolf Creek” and “Rogue”) “6 Miranda Drive.” As THR reports, Bacon is starring as the patriarch of “a family that unwittingly brings a fear-feeding supernatural force with them when they return from a Grand Canyon vacation.” Radha Mitchell is in talks to co-star and the micro-budget thriller is set to start shooting next month in L.A.

Emily Watson and Dominic West are on board "Testament Of Youth" with Alicia Vikander and Kit Harington, according to Daily Mail.  James Kent ("The White Queen") will direct the story of a young woman who "postponed her studies at Oxford to serve as a nurse in the Great War, during which she lost her fiance and brother. After the war, she tried to resume her life but found herself part of a lost generation, returning to Oxford and becoming a feminist and a writer."

Baz Bamigboye also reveals that Ben Whishaw is aboard the drama about early feminism, "Suffragette." Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne-Marie Duff, Meryl Streep and Brendan Gleeson star in the film, with Whishaw slated to play Mulligan's husband. Sarah Gavron ("Brick Lane") directs.

Lastly, the Daily Mail also reports Andrew Garfield and Daniel Bruhl have joined Helen Mirren in the re-titled "The Woman In Gold." The Simon Curtis ("My Week With Marilyn") directed film will tell the story of Maria Altmann, an elderly Jewish refugee who worked with lawyer Randol Schoenberg to take on the Austrian government to recover art treasures she believed rightfully belonged to her family, but were stolen by the Nazis. The most famous among them is Gustav Klimt's "The Lady In Gold, Portrait Of Adele Bloch-Bauer I," itself worth over $130 million dollars. Garfield will play the lawyer, and Bruhl an Austrian official. —additional reporting by Kevin Jagernauth
