10 Essential Cinematic Antiheroes
Liam Neeson holding a gun on a blue tinted poster only means one thing: it's yet another vehicle for the thespian to show that if push comes to shove and somebody kidnaps his daughter or frames him for a crime he didn't commit or in this case, steals his identity, he is going to unleash some serious ass kicking on faceless enemies in a foreign land.
A poster for the action flick "Unknown" has arrived and it pretty much tells you all you need to know. The film stars Liam Neeson who wakes up from a coma to find that his identity has been stolen but -- gasp -- no one believes him not even his beautiful wife played by January Jones. So with the help of a plucky cab driver (Diane Kruger) and a unique set of skills that enables him to unleash some serious carnage, Liam Neeson is out to right some wrongs.
Sounds pretty ludicrous frankly but maybe it will be a good mid-February brain freeze of a movie? We hold out a very slight hope as the film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra who helmed the horror pic "Orphan" which has its share of fans. Guess we'll to wait and see. "Unknown" opens on the very real date of February 18, 2011. [IMP Awards]

In what unholy cinematic vision is someone who looks like Diane Kruger a cab driver?!?

I love that Liam Neeson is now in the "action hero" mode of his career. He makes a really credible badass, unlike a lot of these pretty boy actors Hollywood is so fond of these days.
