Is it getting hot in here? If the first hot and bothered image from Brian De Palma's "Passion" starring Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace got your temperature rising, then these next images and new sales poster for the film may have you reaching for a cool drink.

With a teaser trailer for "Passion" set to unspool for buyers at the Cannes market this week from sales agent The Wild Bunch, it looks like they'll be further tantalizing prospective distributors with a new batch of images from the movie and behind the scenes. As we've said before, the mix of sex and thrills is firmly in the De Palma wheelhouse, and these pics really couldn't be mistaken for a film by anybody else. A remake of Alain Corneau's 2010 French film “Love Crime,” the film centers on two co-workers, the confident Christine (McAdams) and her admiring, but innocent and naive protégé Isabelle (Rapace). Christine has no qualms about stealing some of the fresh ideas Isabelle brings to the international company as her own, but when Isabelle falls into bed with one of Christine's lovers, war breaks out. Catfight

Yep, sounds perfect pulpy and seductive and sounds like it could hopefully be a return to form for De Palma. It also looks like both McAdams and Rapace are taking on characters that are a bit outside the box of what they've been known for. More to come as buyers circle, but certainly, "Passion" has to be one of the hottest titles in the market this year. [De Palma A La Mod]

Too bad it's a remake of Love Crime. Worth seeing once so you should just see the original.

The original isn't very good, in my opinion. I think De Palma has a better chance of making something great out of the material than Alain Corneau ever did.

    Sounding better and better.

Woah. Was not expecting that mask image. This is rapidly becoming one of my most anticipated movies of 2012.

    Wow. Looks awesome.

The second to last image sells it to me, it reminds of "Dressed to Kill" one of his best films.
