10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesWith the newest entry in the series set in Russia, you might think Beltrami would play up the local flavor. But as this preview bears out, most the tracks are the standard stuff you'd hear in any actioner, though "Triple Vodka Rhapsody" does offer something a little more local in style. If anything stands out it's the song titles themselves, which include "Truckzilla," "Get To The Choppa!" (wait, are they really going to reference Arnie's classic line?), "It's Hard To Kill A McClane" and "McClane's Brain." At least they're having fun with it, and you can listen to Beltrami's work in a preview of the score below.
"A Good Day To Die Hard" opens for all you romantics on Valentine's Day, with the score following on February 19th. Check out a new promo for the movie from Regal Cinemas, who insist this is a big screen experience. [Film Music Reporter]

Maybe the actual footage looks generic, but the trailers so far look like high art.
