10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesDuring his career, Dean Martin only recorded two albums worth of holiday songs, but they seem get recycled every so often and the latest disc I'll Be Home Christmas has found some folks unwisely giving his legendary songs a contemporary twist. Why on earth "Winter Wonderland" needs to be given a "Swingin' Yuletide Mix" is beyond us, but it seems someone over at Hip-O Select has also decided, what the hell, let's get Scarlett Johansson to duet with Dino on "I'll Be Home For Christmas." And the result? Well, it's not a crime against music or anything, it's perfectly (and forgettably) pleasant but also kind of totally pointless. But hey, if you ever wondered what these two would sound like singing "together" now you know.
Anyway, the whole album is in stores now. Listen to the collaboration below. [via Boom Bap Beatnik]

Hey pallie, likes Mr. Kev...very cool post on the newest edition of our Dino's "My Kind Of Christmas." I'm with you man when you sez dude, "Well, it's not a crime against music or anything, it's perfectly (and forgettably) pleasant but also kind of totally pointless." Personally I prefer my Dino straight up. Thanks ever so much for introducin' the Dino-vib to your readers. Never was, never will be anyone as cool as the King of Cool...oh to return to the days when Dino walked the earth. Know that your thoughts are bein' shared this day at ilovedinomartin.

The point could be for Scarlett to lend some star power to a project that revives interest in an American icon.
(Disclaimer: not saying that it's enjoyable or good or that she's a worthy singer.)

Oh, Hell to the no ! Please, Scarlett Johansson wishes she was a triple threat. Scarlett's looks has gotten her very far in Hollyweird. Playlist , I understand the need to be respectful, but please stop overrating people. Recently, Michelle Williams stated she has singing talent. That was one of the funniest things I heard in the past few weeks.
