We’re a couple of weeks away from the release of "Pacific Rim" and the marketing blitz, as always, has gone into overdrive. Not based on any preexisting property and a cast devoid of household names, the Guillermo del Toro-helmed tentpole is an expensive gamble that Warner Bros. is hoping pays off. And right now, the signs aren't good with Variety reporting that tracking right now is "disappointing," and indicating that "Grown Ups 2" will beat it on opening weekend. Ouch. So, a new extended TV spot and a batch of new images have dropped online to try and get you into the theater.
