10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesLou Taylor Pucci, who first came to attention of film fans in Mike Mills' "Thumbsucker," is the latest to head into the forest of "The Evil Dead," joining Jane Levy and Shiloh Fernandez. The new spin on the story will follow a group of teens out to the woods to help their friend detox, only to stumble across the Book Of The Dead, and well, you know what happens next. Those demons won't be hallucinations caused from withdrawl. Pucci will play Eric, an intense academic whose intellectual curiosity gets them into trouble (and is probably super annoying).
Filming kicks off next month in New Zealand, with "The Evil Dead" arriving on April 12, 2013.

"Those demons won't be hallucinations caused from withdrawl"
Would you bet on that ? ;)
I mean with Cody writing and this pitch as a starter I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a hipster/armchair-sociology shlockfest.
Beside: remember those dreadful Lewis/Argento lines in Juno ...
