Meg Ryan, 50 Cent, John Lithgow & Kat Dennings To Star In 'Lives Of The Saints'

Okay, we don't know what to make of this one. The cast of the forthcoming indie drama "The Lives Of Saints" is certainly....eclectic. It's made of people we love (John Lithgow, Kat Dennings), guys we don't need to see in another movie ever again (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson) and people we didn't even know where still around (Meg Ryan). Add to that a roster of interesting supporting players (Kevin Zegers, Anthony Anderson, Esai Morales and Joe Anderson) and you have, well.....we're not sure what to expect.

Written and directed by Chris Rossi, plot details are slim but the film will follow "intertwining story lines about a group of Angelinos seeking redemption for past mistakes." So a smaller scale version of "Crash"?

Guess we'll find out soon enough. The film goes in front of cameras next month in Los Angeles and the film rights will be up for grabs at the forthcoming American Film Market. [THR]
