10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesFirst up, Peter Jackson -- who recently wrapped 266 days of principal photography on "The Hobbit" movies -- will be on hand to showcase what he's been cooking up in New Zealand. A new poster for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" has dropped, with Gandalf taking a little bit of a stroll in the midst of some pristine countryside. It speaks to the familiarity of J.R.R. Tolkien's books and Jackson's movies that the one-sheet can keep all the fantasy elements at bay and still be effective. Will Jackson try to sell the 48fps deal again? Will a new trailer arrive? Soon, all will be revealed. The film opens on December 14th. [Facebook]

"The poster seems to give a close-up look at the full suits the characters will be wearing"??? You're kidding right? That's one huge-ass robot that the characters will be piloting. You can see the, all tiny, standing in its shoulder.
