Sam Jackson May Appear In Both ‘Thor’ And ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,' With A Female Sidekick In ‘The Avengers’

“Captain America: The First Avenger,” stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving , Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Sebastian Stan, Neal McDonagh, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Tommy Lee Jones. Yesterday, we got a first look at Sebastian Stan as Evans' reconstituted sidekick Bucky. Today, there's more Cap'n photos, plus a little look at Tommy Lee Jones reprising his role from "Firebirds," "Rules of Engagement," etc., etc., every other stodgy military role he's played over the years in his sleep.

Directed by Joe Johnston, "Captain America: The First Avenger" lands in theaters in post-converted 3D later this year on July 22, 2011. Meanwhile, in Marvel film related news, Samuel L. Jackson now says his Nick Fury character is going to be in Marvel's "Thor" film after various parties once denied it. Congratulations? This image is the best part of that entire story. Oh, and Fury might have a female sidekick too, yay. More 'Captain America' photos below. Hayley Atwell's '40s-era hairdos might be the only thing that keeps this writer interested. She looks gee whiz, purty throughout.
