Oh boy, out of the mouths of babes. Or in this case, douches. Barely after escaping headlines about his appearance on "Attack Of The Show" where he confirmed that he "banged" Olivia Munn a few times, forgot who she was and bizarrely got her ethnicity mixed up, Brett Ratner's big mouth has again landed him in some hot water.

At a screening of "Tower Heist" Friday at the Arclight Hollywood, Ratner stopped by for a Q&A afterward, where in sharing his worldly wisdom about filmmaking, he dropped this morsel of sage advice when asked about the rehearsal process for the comedy flick. "Rehearsal? What’s that? Rehearsal’s for fags. Rehearsal. Not much. A lot of prep, preparation, complex action sequences, visual effects. Storyboards, animatics. The process was I made the actors stick to the script. And they wanted to, because the script was great," said the spokesperson for the New York Film Academy.

It took him a few days, but Ratner has apologized for letting his mouth get ahead of his brain. “I apologize for any offense my remarks caused. It was a dumb and outdated way of expressing myself. Everyone who knows me knows that I don’t have a prejudiced bone in my body. But as a storyteller I should have been much more thoughtful about the power of language and my choice of words,” he said in a statement to The Wrap.

With the way things have been going the past few days for Ratner, you'd think he was running for the Republican nomination or something. It seems that if Eddie Murphy is on the way up, the universe is balancing out by dropping Ratner on the way down. He might want to get off the interview circuit from for the next little bit.

Even manages to pepper his apology with self-delusion and conceit. What an asshole.

I have gone to NYFA and it was a pretty good learning experience no doubt about it. But, getting a job after you spend all that money not likely at all...... I knew tons of people there no one can find anything. And the school doesn't help you get jobs .
