New Image Of Ben Affleck & Olga Kurylenko In Terrence Malick's 'To The Wonder'

Even though the film actually premiered a week ago, and is unveiled in Toronto today, most of the world has only seen a single glimpse of Terrence Malick's latest "To The Wonder." An image, released soon after the start of filming in early 2011, of Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams. And despite our attempts to convince some, after seeing, and liking very much, the film in Venice, that the film was actually made up of nothing but a two hour freeze-frame of that still over some classical music, it's actually a rather misrepresentative image.

You see, McAdams is key to the film, but only gets 15 minutes or so of screen time, while even Affleck plays second fiddle to former Bond-girl Olga Kurylenko, and it's their relationshp that's really the heart of the film. Well, at long last, a new still from the film has arrived, and it's much more indicative of the film itself, showing Affleck and Kurylenko in happier times. The film also stars Javier Bardem and Charlie Baker, and gets its North American premiere at TIFF this evening -- hopefully it'll land U.S. distribution soon.
