10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesStarring Rin Takanashi, Tadashi Akuno and Ryo Kase ("Letters From Iwo Jima," "Restless"), this latest effort from the Iranian filmmaker finds him traveling to Japan, to tell the story of a young woman who finances her studies through prostitution and her relationship with a brilliant, elderly academic who is also one of her clients. The film is said to be a continuation (at least thematically, we're guessing) of "Certified Copy," and it looks like yet another fascinating direction for the filmmaker.
