Yeah, we know, these two movies go together like oil and water. One is an auteur-driven entry in a beloved franchise that has spanned generations, while the other is another indistinguishable addition to a series of films that has managed to beat out most people's expectations for its longevity. But they are both being released by Sony, so there's that.

Yeah, we know, these two movies go together like oil and water. One is an auteur-driven entry in a beloved franchise that has spanned generations, while the other is another indistinguishable addition to a series of films that has managed to beat out most people's expectations for its longevity. But they are both being released by Sony, so there's that.

First up, another new look at the blond-haired villain of "Skyfall," played by Javier Bardem, has landed and it's certainly intriguing. It seems The Avengers aren't the only ones who use glass enclosures to contain their villains. Of course, we would image Silva manages to escape this somehow or else there wouldn't be a movie. Unless this is the final shot of "Skyfall" in which case it's a spoiler (we doubt that). We just hope that Bardem is more menacing than that atrocious dye job, but judging from the latest trailer, he'll still be able to put a chill down your spine. "Skyfall" hits theaters in Europe on October 26th before coming to the U.S. on November 9th.

Meanwhile, here's a new look at Milla Jovovich still proving she knows how to fill a spandex suit in a still from "Resident Evil: Retribution," though frankly, it could be from any of the movies. We don't know what this one is about, it has some old cast members returning, whatever. You're either in the bag for this or not, and duh, it's in 3D. 'Retribution' opens on September 14th...the same day as "The Master." Choose wisely. [ComingSoon/Bloody Disgusting]
