Originally titled "I Hate You, Dad" the upcoming comedy joint from Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler has now got a new, and inconceivably worse name, "Donny's Son." And this pic from the film seems to suggest that Samberg will be playing straight man to Sandler, who seems to be reprising his look from "The Wedding Singer." Co-starring a random cast including Leighton Meester, Ian Ziering, Vanilla Ice, James Caan, Will Forte, Milo Ventimiglia and Susan Sarandon, the film will find Sandler playing Samberg's father who moves in with his son shortly before his wedding and finds himself falling out with the bride-to-be (Meester). Sean Anders and John Morris—the guys who brought you “Sex Drive,” “She’s Out of My League” and “Hot Tub Time Machine”—will be directing. And while the script was given a re-write by the excellent David Wain and Ken Marino, don't be suprised if Sandler's team of hacks watered things down to "Jack & Jill" level. "Donny's Son" opens on June 15th.

One movie we're not sure what to make of is "Rock Of Ages." Adam Shankman's big haired '80s musical is aiming for some kind of intentionally campy vibe, but it's hard to tell if the joke is on us or the movie. Tom Cruise leads the starry cast as the rocker Stacee Jaxx in the story that will follow a small town girl played by Julianne Hough who moves to L.A. in the hopes of making it big. With a cast that includes Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Paul Giamatti, Mary J. Blige and Catherine Zeta-Jones, this will either go big or go home. But either way, studio execs are at least hoping to make back their hairspray budget. This movie gets on stage June 1st.

Finally, in a bit of a different change of pace, here's a new image from "Jack And Diane." Though it's still a bit of unknown at this point, there is good reason it's one of our most anticipated films of the year. Starring Juno Temple and Riley Keough, the film by Bradley Rust Gray takes a teenage lesbian love tale and twists the formula, with one of them revealing she's a werewolf. Add to that a cast rounded out by Dane DeHaan, Jena Malone and pop star Kylie Minogue (as a tattooed lesbian, of course) and you can see why we're intrigued. It opens June 1st.
