10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesNo, this isn't a broadly appealing, R-rated riff like "21 Jump Street," but for those looking for something a little witty, a bit out there and definitely unique, the latest from the long absent filmmaker will fit the bill. Greta Gerwig, Analeigh Tipton, Megalyn Echikunwoke and Carrie MacLemore, star as a quartet of girls who try to impact the lives of women -- in their own strange and oddball way -- on the campus of the their prep school, but find boys, sex and romance getting in the way. It's all very droll, but very fun too, though you have to be willing to submit to Stillman's approach which admittedly isn't for everybody.
A batch of new images has arrived, giving a further peek into the stylized world of the movie, and if you like what you see, the movie hits on April 6th. [AllMoviePhoto]

Saw this the other night at an early screening and really liked it. Not quite Stillman's best--it's a bit sillier, and not as thematically rich--but possibly his funniest film. If you found yourself liking any of his other three, definitely give this one a shot.
