Their worlds will collide - - and that's basically all you need to know about Derek Cianfrance's "The Place Beyond The Pines."

The new film from the "Blue Valentine" filmmaker reunites him that film's star, Ryan Gosling, for a sprawling drama that passes through generations, delving into the sins that are passed on down the line. A batch of new images have dropped for the film, and they aren't any spoilers here, but we'll leave the character details under wraps so you see for yourself. Meanwhile, two clips from the movie clue us into the drama going in the lives of our two leads.
