The Expendables 2.” It’s a truly ridiculous image to behold, but one that is absolutely in line with the kind film they’re selling, and at this point you already know whether you’re in or not. It’s still bizarre that a film that features aging action stars like
Chuck Norris,
Jean-Claude Van Damme and
Dolph Lundgren -- along with
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s triumphant return to the action genre -- will see wide release in a couple of weeks. Be sure to wear your
Cannon Films shirt when you go see “The Expendables 2” on August 17th. [

French filmmakers have strong sense of responsibility to shoot films about social political issues. Looks like Oliver Assayas's this "coming-of-age" story actually deals with the political background for real.
