New Season Of 'Arrested Development' Will Drop Spring 2013

It's time for your semi-regular, minor update on the highly anticipated new season of "Arrested Development" that is now shooting. In the past week or so we've learned that the Silver Fox himself, "Mad Men" star John Slattery, has joined the cast in an unknown role and more awesomely, that the previously planned 10 episodes could now be stretching out to 13. But when can we see them dammit!? Well, very soon.

While a 2013 bow has always been on the cards, today a spokesperson for "Arrested Development" revealed that the show will arrive next spring, but with no firm date just yet. But hell, at least it gives us an idea of when we can turn off the phone, put on our extra loose jogging pants, bring out the Cheetos and gorge ourselves. Because in case you forgot, Netflix won't be serving these out one week at a time. Nope, they are just gonna put this online all at once like some kind of comedic smorgasboard.

So that's it for today, but get ready to clear your schedule next spring. Until then, let us be reminded of Gob's failed bee business. [Vulture]
