A few new pics from some big summer releases have hit to hopefully tide you over.
First up, is a pic of a pre-brain expanding Hector Hammond (Peter Sarsgaard) and Hal Jordon (Ryan Reynolds) taking a pleasant evening stroll while Tim Robbins is behind them in the distance for some reason. Yep, it's "Green Lantern" and the question still remains whether Sarsgaard's receding hairline and badass mustache will be enough to redeem the film that, at least for now, isn't generating too much excitement. However, if anything has been learned from "The Green Hornet," public opinion can be swayed and there's still plenty of time for Warner Bros. to shift the momentum before the film opens on June 17th.
Meanwhile, if you can't get enough of Johnny Depp in eye makeup and bandanas, there's a couple more new looks at "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." The film brings a mix of old and new faces to the franchise with this entry being the first one shot in 3D. You and your mateys can check it out when it opens on May 20th. [MovieWeb/Stitch Kingdom]
