Yep, Still Looks Awesome

What more can we really say about the Coen Brothers' upcoming "True Grit" except that the two months until it hits theaters seems like an eternity.

The teaser and full-length trailers for the film have bowled us over, and this film looks like another solid entry in the Coens' catalog of dark, sardonically funny, grimly violent material. We now have some new pics of the film courtesy of USA Today and really, they are just stoking our anticipation further. No, nothing mind blowing, but just more tastes of a film that falls in the the duos' usual wheelhouse of impeccably shot fare.

Starring Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Barry Pepper and Hailee Steinfeld, the film follows a young girl (Steinfeld) who acquires the assistance of aging, drunken U.S. Marshal Rooster J. Cogburn (Bridges) and young Texas Ranger, La Boeuf (Damon) to track down her father's killer, Tom Chaney (Brolin), who has taken to a gang led by "Lucky" Ned Pepper (Pepper). The film arrives on Christmas Day. More pics after the jump:
