New Pics From 'Super 8' & 'Attack The Block'; Hear Great Basement Jaxx Tune

An alien themed picture post for you, so buckle your seatbelts.

First up, we have two new peeks at JJ Abrams' Steven Spielberg homage "Super 8." As you already know, early trailers have thrilled and industry types have been buzzing about the footage Paramount has previewed to those cool enough to receive an invitation. Starring Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney, Gabriel Basso, Noah Emmerich, Ron Eldard, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills, the ‘70s Ohio-set film will center on the strange events that occur following a train crash with a pack of kids who investigate and find out more. All will be revealed on June 10th.

Meanwhile, Joe Cornish will deliver a much grimier alien invasion flick with his very hot "Attack The Block." Slaying audiences at SXSW, this one features a cast mostly made up of unknowns, protecting their urban patch of land from invading aliens. The film hits U.K. cinemas next Friday with a Basement Jaxx soundtrack to follow. So how about a little taste?
