Here's the first noir-throwback, Saul Bass-inspired poster for Michael Henry's taut Aussie thriller "Blame" which premiered at TIFF last year and was described in our review as a "a lean, terrific and admirable first feature-length effort."
The story centers on a group of teenagers who seek revenge on a teacher because of the sexual betrayal of one of their now-deceased friends, and features a cast led by up and coming actress Sophie Lowe -- probably best known as one of the shortlisted contenders for the titular role in David Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" -- who stars along side Damian de Montemas, Kestie Morassi, Ashley Zukerman, Simon Stone and Mark Leonard Winter.
Lowe's performance was noted to be "icy, chilling and striking" and, along with her award-winning role in drama "Beautiful Kate" (which co-starred "Animal Kingdom" breakout star Ben Mendelsohn), earned her a place on our "15 Actresses We Expect Great Things From" feature. "Blame" isn't coming out in Australia until June and doesn't have a U.S. release as of yet but hopefully there's one around the corner. Check out the full poster and trailer for the film below.
