Well, this is hardly news for anyone who is keeping up with their Christopher Nolan news, because it was teased last summer. "He's got to go on, he's got some other idea, and I'm in it!" Michael Caine said, when asked about Nolan's next film during press rounds for "The Dark Knight Rises." "I've been in everything he's done since he's been in Hollywood. We're each others' good luck charms." Well, that rabbit's foot will back on the set.

Well, this is hardly a shock for anyone keeping up with their Christopher Nolan news, because it was teased last summer. "He's got to go on, he's got some other idea, and I'm in it!" Michael Caine said when asked about Nolan's next film during press rounds for "The Dark Knight Rises." "I've been in everything he's done since he's been in Hollywood. We're each others' good luck charms." Well, that rabbit's foot will back on the set.

Deadline confirms that Caine is now also part of Nolan's great cast for "Interstellar." He'll join Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain in the movie developed by Jonathan Nolan, tweaked by Chris and dealing with time travel and alternate dimensions, telling the story of a group of explorers who go through a wormhole. And yeah, you know this already, and it's all we'll ever hear of the plot until Nolan lifts the sheet, whenever he's good and ready.

Shooting begins later this year with IMAX gear being lugged around. You should plan to call in sick on November 7, 2014.
