10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesWhile it was previously reported to have landed an April 4, 2013 bow in Denmark, FilmJunkies and IMDB are both saying the picture has been moved back to May 23, 2013. Indeed, the latest issue of Premiere magazine, featuring a new image of Gosling from the film (via The Film Stage, see below) also notes a France bow in May. So is Croisette beckoning for the film? We'd say it's a pretty good guess at this point. With the festival set to run from May 15-26, there's no doubt they'd want Refn back who took the Best Director prize for "Drive" in 2011. And with Gosling shooting his directorial debut "How To Catch A Monster" in the spring, perhaps he will have wrapped by then to help promo the picture.
So, we'll continue to wait, but it looks like the pieces are coming together. Now how about a trailer already?

Wasn't this at one point scheduled to premiere on Netflix instant viewing at the beginning of 2013? Did I just completely fabricate this?
