With Susanne Bier walking away with the Best Foreign Film Oscar on Sunday for "In A Better World," it looks like the helmer, like her fellow nominee Rachid Bouchareb, is following up her dark drama with something that has a lighter tone.
Variety reports that Bier is set to direct "All You Need Is Love" (aww), a comedy that will center around a family. There are not many other details on the film just yet, but Zentropa will be producing with Teodora Film and Lumiere co-producing the picture. And it will be getting started very soon.
Casting is underway and the film is being prepped to shoot on the Amalfi coast in May. We're glad to see Bier jumping right back into it. No word yet on how this will affect the production of Bier's remake of the French thriller "Rapt" which was previously reported to be lensing later this year, but could Bier be getting two films in front of cameras this year? We hope so.
