The Amazing Spider-Man Andrew Garfield Emma Stone Slice

Peter Parker: Student, photographer, superhero, punk rocker. While Tobey Maguire's incarnation of Peter Parker was more likely to listen to Death Cab For Cutie and cry himself to sleep, it looks like Marc Webb's upgraded take on the character has a pair of Doc Martens in his closet next to his Spidey suit.

A couple of new images from "The Amazing Spider-Man" have dropped, and no, there is no reveal of The Lizard yet (notwithstanding lame toy versions that have circulated). Anyway, here we get Andrew Garfield in a Ramones t-shirt in what looks like a dated Urban Outfitters take on Peter Parker. Is there a wallet chain on the other side of those jeans? Just don't mess with his toque bro. Meanwhile, Emma Stone does her thing, looking great as Gwen Stacy, though no word if Petey has handed off a mixtape to her yet.

Anyway, this will have to tide you over for now. "The Amazing Spider-Man" turns it up to 11 on July 3rd in eyemelting 3D. [SuperHeroHype]

HAHAHA! Toro, I don't care if all your commenters seem to hate you with a fiery passion, you are still a funny dude.

The t-shirt is probably a slight refference to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5P8lrgBtcU

It's a reference to the fact they're both from Queens, New York. Part of the reason why the Ramones covered that song in the first place.
