10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesPerhaps better known by his stage name Plush, Hayes is no stranger to the silver screen having appeared in "High Fidelity" performing his track "Soaring and Boring." As the image above will attest to, Hayes himself looks like he's walked straight off the set of 'Charlie Swan III,' a fantasy-period comedy set in the 1970s which centers on a titular graphic designer (Sheen) whose life goes on a tailspin after being dumped by his girlfriend. Keep in mind that Sheen was pretty much cast in this off the back of his meltdown last year, which should provide some meta quality to the film.
Just how will the fantastical/magical elements come into the film? Coppola recently explained to Interview Magazine that "for me, magic means a sense of delight, and a sense of play in fantasy. And that for sure is in the movie. It's very imaginative in that there's certain points of fantasy. There's also a Western sequence, and there's just a lot of twist and turns. In order to come to terms and come to understand this relationship that is over, he learns to process it in his own unique way."
Sounds absolutely fascinating and hopefully it won't be too long before the film is unveiled.
