It seems to be the day for untitled movies getting some brand new names. This morning we learned that Terrence Malick's untitled romance is now called "To The Wonder," and now another filmmaker (and one who was also rumored for a Cannes appearance before the lineup was unveiled) has put a title on his gestating project as well.

"Goodbye Solo" and "Man Push Cart" director Ramin Bahrani's tentative step into the mainstream, with a film starring Zac Efron and Dennis Quaid, is now known as "At Any Price." Shot last year in Illinois, the intriguing story follows rebellious Dean Whipple (Efron), who wants nothing more than to pursue his dream of becoming a professional race car driver, while trying to avoid the obligations to his family’s farming empire. But Dean’s ambitious father Henry (Quaid), whose manic pursuit of expansion has alienated the whole family, sets his sights on Dean’s succession. When a high-stakes investigation into their business is exposed, father and son are pushed into an unexpected situation that threatens the family’s entire livelihood.

It's certainly seems to be a more involved plot than Bahrani's previously more open narratives, but the thematic subtext is pretty clear from that plot outline. Heather Graham and Kim Dickens round out the cast for this one with Exclusive Media nabbing the international rights, and repping the film at Cannes for buyers this week. Hopefully this is the first step for the movie hitting the festival circuit, and we'd wager a Venice premiere where Bahrani is a familiar face, is looking like a certainty.
