From "Twilight" hunk who couldn't walk into a corner store without a legion of girls screaming and passing out, to an actor making all the right moves, Robert Pattinson continues to leave his vampire past far behind him. With a re-teaming with David Cronenberg and films with James Gray and Werner Herzog on the horizon, Pattinson continues to be cashing in his Respectable Actor chips and is now set to work again with a famed French actress.

Pattinson is re-teaming with "Cosmopolis" co-star Juliette Binoche for "The Childhood Of A Leader." Tim Roth rounds out the leading trio in the film co-written by Mona Fastvold and actor Brady Corbert ("Melancholia," "Simon Killer") that will tell the story—as you might have guessed from the title—of the childhood of a post-WWI leader. Which one? Don't ask because for the moment, Variety isn't saying. That being said, we should know more soon.

Everything is coming together for shooting to start in May overseas, with Corbet making his feature directorial debut. So add this to Pattinson's growing list of intriguing projects that he has coming down the line.

Robert is overrated, what were the films that deserved to comment on? , Excluding Cosmopolis no other, it's all advertising and as such we have The Rover with Facebook, Twitter, and coming? more publicity as Dior, (hopefully watch the movie and read the experts)

I've learnt that "The Childhood Of A Leader" is based on one of short stories written by Jean-Paul Sartre. It looks like interesting project. Great casting, hope will be great movie.

I think Rob is like one's first love... he is still beautiful now, but is starting to look all grown up. I will go and see all of his movies, then buy them on dvd and watch them again... I look forward to seeing him married and with children some day. I think he will make a great dad.

Congrats Rob....I am most looking forward to "The Black List" film...I have a real good feeling about this particular project for you...I predict you will be nominated for an award once all is said and done with it....Just a hunch and have felt that from the day they said you would be making it....which is several months ago...So, my friend...good luck....Looks like you and Kristen are sharing Ms. Binoche.....

Pattinson? Meh! Cosmopolis was a giant turd!

I don't know what a "turd" means but it doesn't sound positive lol. Cosmopolis wasn't everyone's cup of tea, surely not but those who've read the book on beforehand could only admit that Cronenberg made an excellent adaptation and that Pattinson was brilliant as Eric Packer.

Most of his movies are bordering on p0rn. None were very successful and were not seen on the screen. Bel Ami was so dirty that it is shown on late night TV. When a movie goes straight to DVD is an indication that its not good. His looks are fading fast with the life style he has lately.
