Review: 'The Immigrant'Despite being talked about for years, there isn’t really much known about the film other than that it will follow five friends who attempt to duplicate an epic pub crawl they did twenty years ago. In the journey to complete the task by reaching the titular The World's End, it appears they get swept up in something that will put the fate of humankind in their hands. Talk about building up a bar tab. As their past films have shown, the trio love to play with genre tropes, bend and break them, and put it all back together with their unique flavor so we're excited to see what they do here.
We’re not really sure what Pike’s role is -- a love interest? one of the childhood friends? just a random character? -- or how large it will be, but with the start date looming ever closer we'll hopefully get more information, including who else will play Pegg and Nick Frost’s childhood friends. And we imagine some regular collaborators and cameos will pop in as well. “The World’s End” will be released next year by Focus Features domestically. Meanwhile, let us know who you would like to see play Pegg and Frost’s other friends below. [Daily Mail]

Rosamund Pike is awesome, she just never seems to get good roles. This is great news for the actress and the movie.

Oh, they have to get Mark Heap. They have to!

Peter Serafinowicz needs to be in this, as well as Tyres, and pretty much everybody from Spaced. Maybe Martin Freeman, though he may be busy. I just hope they don't cast Steve Coogan, because he's majorly annoying.

Awesome news! Rosamunde Pike should be a much, much bigger star. So happy to see her in a comedy-and one from the great Wright, Pegg and frost no less-as I felt her comedic timing was one of the highlights of "An Education".
