Rumor: Reshoot Has Added A Surprising Cameo To 'The Wolverine'

With "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" stacked to the rafters with pretty much every mutant they can squeeze into the thing, this summer's "The Wolverine" is looking pretty quaint. Oh sure, we'll get Viper, Silver Samurai and Jean Grey (probably), but those few barely even begin to scratch the sheer volume of players Bryan Singer is bringing to the table. Perhaps not be outdone, and to possibly try and ape Marvel's comic world building, it would appear that another face will be popping up as a late addition to "The Wolverine," and duh, spoilers below.

According to sources speaking to JoBlo, a late reshoot has added Professor X in a quick airport scene with Logan. Now, a couple of interesting red flags to throw up here, the biggest of which is this: with "The Wolverine" apparently set after "X-Men: The Last Stand," shouldn't Professor X be dead? It's also not clear if Patrick Stewart himself was involved or not, but the suggestion is that this could be a kind of post-credits thing, possiblymaybeperhaps linking to 'Future Past.' So...cool? We'll let the nerds debate it below.

Until then, a brand new FilmDrunk has done the most intensive exploration of "The Wolverine" yet.....by re-cutting the trailer and adding slide whistles. Hilarious stuff, watch below.
