10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesIn case you haven't kept up with the John Romita, Jr. and Mark Millar-created comics, Colonel Stars is an ex-mafia member who becomes a born-again Christian and costumed vigilante, and he (alongside his sister Lieutenant Stripes) forms Justice Forever – a team of heroes that Kick-Ass is recruited to. Their main adversary is Red Mist, who has now renamed himself The Motherfucker and who has also been assembling a team of supervillains. His role is said to be quite small, but Carrey is known to be a fan of the comic so he was probably more than happy to join Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Clark Duke and the rest of the returning gang.
In case you missed it, last week brought a look at Donald Faison as Dr. Gravity. Robert Emms, Lindy Booth, Andy Nyman, Morris Chestnut and more round out the cast. Jeff Wadlow directs the sequel that drops on June 28th. [via /Film]

His role is small because he gets his head cut off and replaced with that of his dog.
