The responsibility weighing on the shoulders of ”Harold & Kumar” series creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg is immense. Tasked with writing and directing "American Reunion," the pressure of making a sequel that can match and possibly even better what we thought was the franchise closer, "American Pie: The Wedding," is something we can't even fathom. So far, they have been lucky -- nay, blessed -- that Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, Jennifer Coolidge and Allyson Hannigan have approved of their work and agreed to set aside time to return for another installment. But all of this is meaningless unless everybody comes back to maintain the careful balance of characters that made the original series so vital to the American psyche. So ladies and gentlemen prepare....

Shannon Elizabeth is returning for "American Reunion."

Deadline confirms this glorious Memorial Day weekend news, which should make your BBQ taste extra smoky and your ice cream extra sweet. The carefully devised plot gets everyone together for their 10-year high school reunion as they spend a weekend catching up with each other. Will it be the "The Big Chill" for our generation?

"American Reunion" will open in theaters on April 6, 2012.

That's really funny you posted a news article on a subject neither you nor anyone else could give a shit about. Super funny how you made it abundantly clear that you don't care. Thank you so much.
