For a guy who is set to retire/take a hiatus from filmmaking, Steven Soderbergh couldn't be more busy. "Contagion" just hit theaters last fall, the stripper pic "Magic Mike" is wrapped and headed to theaters this summer, and oh yeah, he's got another movie, finished for a while now, hitting the multiplex in just a couple of weeks. It's called "Haywire" and it will kick your ass.

As you already know, MMA fighter Gina Carano toplines the star-studded film (that also features Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum, Bill Paxton, Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas, Michael Fassbender and more) about a black ops agent who seeks vengeance after she's betrayed and left for dead. Sounds simple enough, but with a script from "The Limey" and "Kafka" writer Lem Dobbs, the film is anything but conventional. We caught the film at the AFI Fest a couple months back, and the tenor of the movie is probably encapsulated in our description of a climatic fight, where we said it was "like someone dropped a Donnie Yen battle into a Michelangelo Antonioni art film."

With the film landing in theaters on January 20th, a new clip has cropped up, along with an extended trailer giving a taste of a few more bits of footage along with a handful of new images. Check 'em out below. [Hollywood/Crave]

Gina Carano has a beautiful face, but bit too strong.

Any chance you could make that video not auto-play? We're encouraged to embed it on other sites but once we've seen it and are trying to read other posts, the video plays, and when we click on "reply" and the page reloads, the video plays again.
