10 Essential Cinematic AntiheroesNonetheless, Marlohe has joined the ever growing, star-studded, sprawling cast of Terrence Malick's still-untitled movie set against the backdrop of the music scene about two intersecting love triangles. But hey, she'll get to rub elbows with some/all/none of the current cast that includes Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Natalie Portman with Benicio Del Toro, Holly Hunter and uh, The Lizardman all dropping by the set as well. But hey, she will get to work with Malick, though these days, that's becoming about as unique as working with Woody Allen.
Production continues and the movie will come out whenever Malick feels like it, sometime in the long distant future.

"we'd second guess casting her in a movie where the likelihood of getting cut and replaced with a shot of an undulating wheat field is very high."
CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE INCLUDED THAT CLICHE.

Article is a little snarky, don't you think?

Val Kilmer showed up on set as well today. http://blogs.houstonpress.com/artattack/2012/11/val_kilmer_on_set_in_austin_wi.php And it's kind of funny that the initial reactions to the Fassbender reports were "cameo" and "he's going to get cut". He's been in Austin for about 4 weeks now & is obviously part of the core ensemble. Hopefully someone will ask the producers during "To the Wonder" press how exactly that casting happened & slipped under the radar.

Apparently, Malick's location scout was snooping around the bar I work at yesterday! Maybe I can be in the movie, too!
