Sofia Vergara Joins Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills'

What was that we said yesterday about beautiful women and Robert Rodriguez's films?

One day after Amber Heard joined the cast, now comes word that "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara will bring her ample curves to "Machete Kills." As you know Danny Trejo will be back, this time hired by the U.S. government to hunt down the billionaire arms dealing gringo, played by Mel Gibson, who plans to launch a missile that is going to fuck some shit up. But along the way, Machete will need to visit Vergara's Madame Desdemona, a leather-wearing woman who runs some kind of brothel or something where her "harlots" have some info that he needs. Yep, sounds like a Rodriguez film.

Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Demián Bichir round out the cast for now, with surely more names coming down the line. [Variety]
