Spend Some Time 'Before Midnight' With Some New Images

After the return to form that was 2011’s “Bernie,” Richard Linklater is back with the highly anticipated “Before Midnight,” the third film to center on Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as lovers. Five new stills from the film have arrived online, courtesy of Vulture, and now you can check out how the characters look nine years later.

After the return to form that was 2011’s “Bernie,” Richard Linklater is back with the highly anticipated “Before Midnight,” the third film to center on Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as lovers. Five new stills from the film have arrived online, courtesy of Vulture, and now you can check out how the characters look nine years later.

Set nine years after “Before Sunset,” which itself was set nine years after “Before Sunrise,” the third part catches up with Hawke and Delpy as Jesse and Celine, living in Paris with their twin daughters, and then taking a vacation to Greece. Our review from Sundance called it a “challenging funny, painful, very present and alive depiction of relationships at 40.” And basically, if you loved the first two movies, you will not be disappointed the third time out.

“Before Midnight” arrives in theatres on May 24th. Check out the images below.
