New Images From 'Total Recall' Starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale & Jessica Biel

By this point, there isn't much left to reveal about Len Wiseman's "Total Recall." The trailers have made it clear it's going to be a pretty average sci-fi flick, granted, with some identity twisting traits, but nothing that has had us truly sitting up and taking notice. To recap, Colin Farrell is in the lead as Doug Quaid, a man who goes to get some false memories implanted in his brain but quickly becomes a target when he's mistaken as somebody else. Or is he? Reality and imagination blur as he tries to get to the bottom of what happened with Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and more along for the ride.

Update: According To Columbia Pictures, Ethan Hawke's role was a "small part" that did not make the final cut of the film.

Listen, we put it in the goddamn headline, so in case it isn't painfully obvious -- this post has spoilers. If you require that the integrity of the "Total Recall" remake must be maintained before you go see it stop reading here. You've been warned, so moving along....

By this point, there isn't much left to reveal about Len Wiseman's "Total Recall." The trailers have made it clear it's going to be a pretty average sci-fi flick, granted, with some identity twisting traits, but nothing that has had us truly sitting up and taking notice. Reality and imagination blur as he tries to get to the bottom of what happened with Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy and more along for the ride. But there is one more name that's part of the cast, Ethan Hawke, and until now, his role has been kept tightly under wraps with the only word coming from the actor himself who said last year that he would be doing a five page monologue (somehow, we doubt that). But now we do have an idea on who he'll play.

ScreenRant spoke with producer Toby Jaffe on the set of the film, and when they asked about Hawke's part in the film, he was surprisingly forthcoming. “Not to give away too much, but one of the big differences between the earlier film and this film is that not only do they erase his memory but they change the way he looks, so he has a different face. Ethan plays who he was before they wiped his mind and changed his face,” he said, apparently forgetting he started his answer by saying "Not to give away too much."

Here are a few more new pics from Collider to tide your over before "Total Recall" invades your brain on August 3rd.
