Spy Kid No More: First Official Image Of Alexa Vega In 'Machete Kills'

Alexa Vega gave fans a bit of a tease over the summer when she posted a quick snap of herself in costume on the set of "Machete Kills" via Instagram. The "Spy Kids" star you once knew has certainly grown up. And now she's turning heads once again as the first official still of the actress has arrived and...we feel old....

Vega takes on the playful role of KillJoy in Robert Rodriguez's upcoming sequel, the bodyguard of a whorehouse, presumbly the one presided over by Sofia Vergara's Madame Desdemona. And it would seem the girls are in safe hands with the pistol packin' Vega guarding the front door. What Machete himself thinks of all this remains to be seen.

No release date yet, but Open Road will unleash "Machete Kills" sometime next year. Your childhood is forever changed below. [Movieline]
