While this writer appears to be in the minority who didn't think the trailer for the Beastie Boys short "Fight For Your Right Revisited" was all that and a bag of chips, the rest of you will happy to know that it's now coming to a small screen near you.

Set your DVRs because tonight, at midnight, on VH1 the rest of us who couldn't make it to Sundance where it premiered will get our first look at "Fight For Your Right Revisited." Boasting a stupidly huge cast including Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Stanley Tucci, Chloe Sevigny and a shit ton more, the film appears to be some kind of battle between future and present versions of the Beastie Boys. Anyway, it should be plenty ridiculous and if you don't get VH1 we're guessing someone will upload the whole thing to the interwebs sometime overnight.

And oh yeah, the Beastie Boys do have a new album coming too, “Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2.” It will street on May 3rd and you can check out the first single "Make Some Noise" below. [IFC]

It is off of Broadcast day not calendar day, so it is really tonight at Midnight (calendar day of Thursday morning).
