It looks like the BBC is giving "Doctor Who" fans lots of reasons to look forward to season eight. First, after runs by two fan favorites in Matt Smith and David Tennant, Peter Capaldi will be the next actor to roll with the TARDIS in the beloved show. And to get things off on on the right foot, one of the best genre filmmakers of the moment has been hired as well.

“The Zero Theorem” is just a few weeks away from being revealed at the Venice Film Festival and expectations are high for Terry Gilliam's new venture into Orwellian territory. A few weeks ago, a trailer unspooled online and was promptly eradicated from every corner of the interwebs due to copyright claims. Move over "Sharknado 2," Syfy has something even more compelling on the horizon that isn't just a dumb social media sensation taken too far. The network is ready to make cult fans of Terry Gilliam's "12 Monkeys" either excited or angry or both, as they are now preparing to re-launch the movie as a brand new TV series.
