While we may marvel at James Franco's ability to do twenty thousand things at once, Steven Soderbergh may have him beat. Though he may have "retired" from making movies, Soderbergh still has a TV show coming up ("The Knick"), producing gigs, Broadway productions and more all in various states—not to mention running his site Extension 765—so we have no idea how he still has time to watch, read and listen to music at such a prolific rate. Because seriously, just check out his methodical list of everything he watched, read and listened to (or at least bought on vinyl) in 2013.

It seems barely a week goes by without it being announced that Liam Neeson is attached to play some kind of badass. Ever since "Taken" renewed his stardom, he's been a busy bee, punching people (and wolves) in everything from "The A-Team" and "Clash Of The Titans" to "The Grey" and the upcoming "Non-Stop." Only this morning saw images of Neeson giving bad-guys the what for in "Taken 2," the sequel to the original smash. So ordinarily, we'd be forgiven for greeting the announcement of a new hardboiled crime thriller starring the Irish actor with a roll of the eyes.

D.J. Caruso Might Take 'A Walk Among The Tombstones'

D.J. Caruso has had an interesting career thus far. He started doing moodier fare like "The Salton Sea" and less notably the Angelina Jolie thriller "Taking Lives." He detoured into the sports gambling movie "Two for the Money" before dropping the Hitchock-ripping "Disturbia," the actioner "Eagle Eye" and then this year's "I Am Number Four." The curious thing is that all of his movies have been middling. Not terrible, but not really that good either, and he's profitable and enthusiastic enough to still get his name on pictures. He already has the comic adaptation "Preacher" on his table, but a decidedly different sort of movie might come first.
